Message from the Chair:

I would like to welcome everyone to the 40th Legislative District. We made great strides in 2006, but the hard work has just started. We need to keep finding great candidates to run for office. There is a need to keep people informed and involved with all aspects of Government, be it Local, State or National and to develop outreach programs to get all the people involved. We can make even greater strides for Democracy in 2008, but it will take a lot of work and effort from all Democrats. There are a lot of citizens that will be looking for a Party to belong to and we need to be ready to greet them into the 40th LD and Democratic Party. In 2008 we will have the Presidential Election and our State Representatives are up for election. We will need all the help and motivation of the 40th LD PCO's and anybody willing to help Democrats become elected.
